Garmin GPS File Instructions

Right click and Save File As. This file needs to be saved to your computer and then transferred to the GPS via software.

This file contains both the track logs (actual course line) and the waypoints (our overnight destinations). Groups 2 & 3 will want to have this file updated in their GPS each night. Group 1 will not have the benefit of a full track to follow for the entire trip.

If you are using a Garmin Nuvi model, the tracks are of no use as that model line will not accept them. The waypoints can be loaded to the GPS, they will appear under Favorites. All other Garmin models can use the track logs.
