VVMapping Return Policy
Not satisfied with a product from us? Return any VVMapping product within 90 days from date of purchase for a full refund of your purchase price. Please include a copy of your invoice with the product.

Upgrade/Update Policy
All product updates for digital products, are free for one year from date of purchase.

First year of updates are free with product purchase. On average there are three updates per season for any of our products. When the next version is released, we send an email to let you know of the new version. It can then be downloaded from our site or a new CD can be requested or an updated memory card can be exchanged for the current card. For the card exchange, we include a postage-paid mailer to return the old card to us.

For example, our GPS Maps of Michigan Snowmobile Trails had 7 updates in 2009. Customers were notified by email of the release and then had the option to download the new version, request a new CD (free) or request an updated memory card to exchange for their old card.

We will generally extend your subscription to the nearest release. If your subscription were set to expire in May and the product had an update in March and another in June, you are able to access the June release.

Each release includes notes on what has changed with this version, enabling you to determine if the changes are relevant to your needs. You can skip a version or two, as each update is fully inclusive of all previous versions.

An additional year of updates (subscription) can be purchased for $10. This will extend your active subscription by one year. It can be purchased at any time, including months after the initial period concluded, providing a full 12 months from the date the new subscription was purchased.

Note that your original maps do not "expire" or otherwise stop working, the updates/subscription is only to receive the new changes/features that come with the new releases.

Upgrades from one product to another are not free, but are priced to not cost more than if you had bought the upgraded product initially.

We currently do not offer updates or upgrades for our non-digital products, such as our Map Books.

Our books are updated throughout the year and we may be able to make the updated pages available to you electronically (please contact us).
